The prosecution, today, prayed the Intermediate Court of Nyarugenge to hand a 20-year jail term to Somayire Hagenimana, who is accused of defiling a 13-year- old girl and impregnating her. Hagenimana, 22, of Rwesero, Kigali Sector in Nyarugenge District, pleaded guilty to charges of sexually harassing Niyonkuru [another name withheld) on March 10, last year. Niyonkuru, who is now 14, has a child, conceived out of the defilement.
