AMAVUBI team are set to embark on a five-hour road trip to Sousse this morning ahead of their scheduled international friendly match against Tunisia which will be played at Monastir stadium on Sunday evening.According to head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojovic, the Amavubi are hoping for an early recovery in time for the Sunday’s clash.They will have a light training session this afternoon as well as on Saturday. Amavubi are likely to stay in Sousse until their scheduled flihght to Algiers on May 31.Rwanda and Tunisia last met during the 2004 Africa Nations Cup finals which was held in Tunis. Rwanda finished third in Group A after a 1-2 loss to the hosts.Micho will be using this game as a last saloon rehearsal which will determine the line-up of players who will guide Amavubi’s quest for a World Cup qualifying spot against Algeria.Tunisian Football team coach Sami Trabelsi unveiled his list of 25 players in anticipation of qualifying for the next World Cup, Brazil 2014, a fortnight ago.For Tunisians, the qualification campaign for the World Cup will start on June 2 in Monastir (Tunisia east coast) against Equatorial Guinea in Group B, which also has Cape Verde and Sierra Leone.Tunisia is ranked 56th in the world and 8th in Africa.
