This remake of the 1984 classic that starred Kevin Bacon, John Lithgow and Laurie Singer proved to be a force to reckon with. Basically the same plot with only a few changes that coincide with the first, Footloose grossed a worldwide total of $62 million, a sum lower that the original’s $80 million.
