Editor, I have read that the Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB) is contemplating to raise the minimum age for early retirement from 55 to 60 years, and to create a ceiling on how much one can be paid in pension.

I liked the way Oscar Kabatende opposed that idea in his article in The New Times on Tuesday. Indeed it is very clear that RSSB wants to retain as much contributions as it can. But I think MPs must reject the move, and instead protect pensioners.UmutesiOttawa
