Rwanda proves public sector can be efficient
Editor, I live in Kampala but I visit Kigali, frequently. I would like, through The New Times to commend the Government of Rwanda for a job well done in refurbishing the country’s roads, particularly the highways and in the City of Kigali.

Editor,I live in Kampala but I visit Kigali, frequently. I would like, through The New Times to commend the Government of Rwanda for a job well done in refurbishing the country’s roads, particularly the highways and in the City of Kigali. If you drove or took a walk around the roads of Kigali today, you feel proud to this country. It makes wonder why most African countries are not orderly and clean like Rwanda. Here, vertically everyone respects traffic rules. The orderliness and cleanliness you see on Kigali streets, and the general atmosphere and progress across the country, proves that actually Africa is not meant to fail. Other African governments have a lesson or two to learn from Rwanda.Rosebell MukasaKampala
