Poem: Passing by My School Garden

How I wish I could step into this garden Just a temptation as I pass by I wanted to know what the flowers said And the gentle murmur of the wind in the sky. My heart swayed with happiness

How I wish I could step into this gardenJust a temptation as I pass byI wanted to know what the flowers saidAnd the gentle murmur of the wind in the sky.My heart swayed with happinessAs I watched the upright poppiesThe wind whistled while kissing the treesAnd the jolly gardener watered them happily.Perhaps the leaves so green, were busyPreparing tasty dishes for the family! The sweet smelling fragrance of that lovely environmentGot to my nostrils and tickled my mind. The air so fresh and cool blowing thereThick clusters of flowers merrily danced with flairThe grass was cut so short, it wept with joyAnd the dew drops seemed like tearsThat covered the face of a boy.As the crimson morning sun arrivedWhite roses like cups of vanilla spreadI felt as if I was drowningIn those fragrant flowery beds. The bell was about to ringAnd I had to study for hours. No more of blissful wanderingIn that colourful world of flowers. But somewhere in my mind did lingerThe fragrant essence of red rosesThose cups of vanilla, pink poppiesFilled my imagination with pretty posy.
