Rwandan statisticians are in the process of establishing a professional umbrella to create a national forum for networking.Among the association’s responsibilities will be sharing experiences to help improve statistical management. Peter Malinga, coordinator, Technical services at the Public Sector Capacity Secretariat (PSCBS), said that it will help in the advancement of statistical management capacity."The association should be able to support and advocate for the strategic positioning of statistical management in institutions, thereby promoting excellent standards, integrity, and professional ethics,” Malinga said.He highlighted that through information sharing, it will strengthen the statistics profession both at the national and international level.
