June 2, 2012Algeria         vs     RwandaBenin         vs     MaliGroup H rivals Algeria has named a 29-man squad to start preparation for the first leg of the 2014 World Cup preliminary round qualifier against Rwanda scheduled for June 2 in Algiers. The players were summoned over the weekend by Algeria national football team head coach Vahid Halilhodzic. Halilhodzic said the team’s camp will run from May 21 to June 16 at the National technical center of Algerian Football Federation in Sidi Moussa in Algiers.Algeria, who host Rwanda on June 2, are expected to face Niger on May 26 in a friendly match. They will also play away to Mali on June 9 before hosting Gambia in the qualification for the 2013 Africa Nations’ Cup finals.Halilhodzic called 16 players flying their trade outside Algeria while the rest are local players.  Meanwhile, Rwanda’s head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojovic is expected to name his side in today’s press conference that will be held at Ferwafa headquarters.The Amavubi is expected to start camp on May 16 and will for a two-week training camp in Tunisia from May 19 where they will play two friendly matches against Libya and Tunisia national teams.From Algeria, Rwanda will host Benin in Kigali on June 10 before heading to Nigeria for the return leg of the 2012 Africa Nations Cup qualifiers.
