African governments should focus on creating more jobs for the young people on the continent, said Kofi Annan, chairman of Africa Progress Panel, at a press conference of the World Economic Forum on Africa that officially kicked off here on Thursday.Annan, who is also one of the six Co-Chairs of the Forum held under the theme "Shaping Africa’s Transformation,” said that Africa should be more concerned by making a real big push to try to meet theMillennium Development Goals (MDGs)."Africa has shown remarkable growth in the last a few years. It has seven of the world fastest-developing economies. We have seen created investment FDI and we are also trying to generate domestic investments to promote Africa’s development,” said Annan. However, "there are inequalities growing in Africa that we all should be concerned about. I would suggest that as Africans we should focus on the young people and the young power that is going to need lots of works, lots of jobs,” said him.
