So with all the chill and work, which day is the best for outing and sharing a drink with friends to clear the week’s stress?Well, Friday night is always amazing and even with all the rain this season that floods the streets of Kigali, some people can not push the drinking and dancing to Saturday. Gilbert Mutimura who likes going out at K club on Friday nights, says "I always go out and happen on Friday night because I don’t work on Saturday and I have to go to church on Sunday so Saturday, is not an option for outing.” Shillat Umutesi of Kicukiro says; "Friday is my day out. I am so used to it and always go out with my friends. Saturday is the day for resting and relieving the week’s stress.” Friday rocks for some people, but Saturday nights crowns it all for others. Saturday nights, in most cases seem to be more happening. Alex Kambanda, a S.6 vacist who likes hanging out at MTN Centre Virunga, says "Saturday is the best day of the week. It makes my week as I sleep all day and later go out till morning.
It gives me enough time to rest for the long night.” Much as these are the two hot days, some people think otherwise. Sandra Kahirita a student from Uganda doing research in Rwanda, says; "of all nights out, my best is Thursday with the Karaoke at Wahome’s Grill & Barbecue. Karaoke is my thing and that makes my week. I don’t go out on Saturday or Friday.”Well the two days rock through out the week but it seems everyone has their day. Pick yours and have fun.
