The Nigerian football federation (NFF) have finally agreed to host their 2013 Africa Nations’ Cup clash against Rwanda at the U.J. Esuene Stadium in Calabar.The NFF’s Emeka Inyama told Nigerian media that Calabar is a notable venue and has hosted several national teams in the past with its natural grass.The venue was also confirmed after FIFA gave the NFF a Friday (yesterday) deadline to come up with the name of the city to host the game, which explains the urgency to announce Calabar.The FIFA 2014 World Cup qualifying race kicks-off across the globe on Saturday, June 2 with Nigeria taking on Namibia in its first while Rwanda will play away to Algeria.Rwanda will be hosted by Nigeria in the second leg of the 2013 Africa Nations Cup qualifier on June 16.Meanwhile, the Amavubi team kicks off preparations for the busy June schedule next week with head coach Milutin Sredojovic Micho set to name his team on May 14.
