Volleyball action returns today as the Coca-cola league swings into phase two at Kimisagara and Amahoro indoor courts.

While Preliminary action in the men’s category will be held at Amahoro and Kigali Institute of Education (KIE), the girls will use the Kimisagara courts.

The top clubs will advance to the finals which will be played on Sunday at the same venues.

Reigning champions APR who are said to have beefed up their squad after phase one top the league table after claiming phase one which was staged in Butare over a month ago.

Fallen giants Kigali Volleyball Club (KVC) and Umubano Blue Tigers (UBT) are in second and third place.

Meanwhile, Rwanda National University (UNR) top the ladies’ league table.

UNR are chasing for their third successive league title after wining the 2006 and 2007 league titles.

This year’s league attracted twenty clubs; 12 in the men’s category and nine in the ladies’ category.
