AMAVUBI U-20 skipper Emery Bayisenge will this Thursday head to France for a two-week professional trial with French Ligue 1 side Toulouse Football Club. The development was confirmed yesterday by Ferwafa Secretary General Michel Gasingwa. "We are currently finalising his travel documents so he can leave for his trials on Thursday,” noted Gasingwa.Bayisenge has been a key figure for Isonga FC in the Primus National Football League and was instrumental in the home and away wins for the U-20 national team against Namibia in the Africa Youth Championship qualifiers. The Ferwafa academy product led Rwanda’s U-17 to the second place in the 2011 Africa Youth Championship finals played in Kigali last year before leading the same team at the FIFA U-17 World Cup finals held in Mexico.Bayisenge is the third player from that team that will be going for trials in Europe. SEC Academy and U-20 defender Solomon Nirisarike passed trials with Belgium’s Royal Antwerp in February and the following month, Michel Rusheshangoga spent two weeks on trials at the same club, but they have yet to make public his fate.Toulouse which is placed eighth on the Ligue 1 standings with 55 points was founded under the name Union Sportive de Toulouse. In its 40 years of existence, the club has achieved minimal honours only winning Ligue 1 twice in 1982 and 2003.
