They could not have had a more perfect day for the ‘Beautiful People’ party .Over the weekend, the most anticipated event in Kigali was the ‘Beautiful People’ party at the Kicukiro based Stone House pub.With revellers allowed to enter with their own drinks and no entrance fee - by 7pm almost every table was taken and those who arrived a few hours later were only left with the option of standing all night.Uganda’s DJ Gomez was the guest entertainer, as he took partygoers through East African music, dancehall, old school music and any other kind of music requested by the crowd.The party that was organised to celebrate Rwanda’s beauty got more interesting when a group of comedians joined the party and did a couple of funny dance moves that kept people laughing.‘I would like to thank all those who made it today and assure them that celebrations of this kind will happen again because it brings us together as Rwandans,” said Stone House’s proprietor, Nellie Ingabire.
