Sensational Rayon Sports striker Joackim Ojera maintains that the club remains his first choice in the upcoming June 2023 transfer window.
Ojera who joined Rayon on loan from URA FC in Uganda, in January 2023, emphasized that the Blues are his main option though other clubs in Rwanda and abroad are also on his heels.
"I am waiting for the management of Rayon to see what they will give me. The club is my first choice and they have the first option to sign me permanently," Ojera told Isimbi.
"I have offers from around the world. There are other Rwandan clubs who want me also."
Ojera has been in superb form since joining Rayon Sports and he has been very key for them in their quest to win a double this season.
He won the club's player of the month award for February and has three league goals and a couple of assists to his name.
On Wednesday, May 3, the Ugandan forward set up two goals as Rayon Sports beat Police FC 3-2 at the Kigali Pele Stadium in the second leg of the 2022/23 Peace Cup quarter-finals game.
