Flamboyant Sweden based footballer Bobo Bola has cried out to the national football team selectors to consider him for national team duty in the forthcoming 2010 Fifa/Can qualifiers that start on later this month.

In a rare interview with Times Sport Bobo Bola his expressed his undying willingness and interest for the spot on the national team basing on his current form and believes that the team can benefit if he is considered.

"The ability to guide my side to the top of the league leaves me confident that I can deliver my best to my national team,” Bobo said.

Bobo who features for Sweden’s second division league club Landskronabois has guided his side to three victories in their league thus securing first spot with nine points since the league got underway early last month. Landskronabois plays its next fixture away to seventh placed Sirius on Monday.

Bobo last played for Amavubi Stars during their 2008 Africa cup of Nations qualifier game against Cameroon. With last week’s appointment of Tucak Blanko as national team coach and qualification to Angola topping his agenda, most European based players have so much to prove to the new man at the helm.

Amavubi Stars kick off their campaign with a home tie against Mauritania on May 30. Other countries in Rwanda’s group eight include; Morocco and Ethiopia.

Rwanda will face Ethiopia away in Addis Ababa on June 7 before hosting the Atlas Lions a week later. The Amavubi Stars will then fly to Rabat on June 21 for a return leg against the North African giants.

On September 7, the 2007 Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup losing finalists head to Nouakchott for the second leg against Mauritania before winding up their campaign with a home game against Ethiopia on October 12.
