When temptation pops, say a prayer

Today young people are faced with temptations than never before. Whenever you feel tempted to do something you feel is not right, call on God; He is always listening and ready to help. You don’t have to be a pastor for God to hear your prayer. Talk to him like you would your parents.

Today young people are faced with temptations than never before. Whenever you feel tempted to do something you feel is not right, call on God; He is always listening and ready to help. You don’t have to be a pastor for God to hear your prayer. Talk to him like you would your parents.Tell Him, "Dear God, please help me stay strong. I need your help right now, because I am being tempted to join activities I know are not good for me. Give me the strength to say ‘no.Help me find something else positive to do. You are my strength. I thank You Father for understanding all the temptations I face and what it takes to turn away from them.” There are no special words required in prayer. Just speak to God from the heart. Be as sincere as you can even though you already know He knows when you are being sincere. If possible find someone to pray with regularly. Pray together whenever you get the chance, especially before you go to sleep. Praying with a friend is great for personal growth; it’s also a cool way to take that friendship to a deeper level.
