Editor,I wish to commend the work being done by Aegis Trust, a non government organisation that manages the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre, among other companies, which generate income to support Genocide survivors and orphans. I was a VSO volunteer in Kenya for two years. With another co-volunteer, we visited Rwanda in December 2010 and stayed at the Discover Rwanda Youth Hostel. We were very pleased with the friendly staff, service, price and strategic location of the hostel not to mention that we are also contributing to a worthy cause of working with survivors. This is just the kind of place we wanted to visit. A lot has been achieved in Rwanda and many survivors are now living a decent life.Diana GuacenaKigali
