Guides at the memorial sites doing a great job

Editor, It takes a tremendous amount of courage for anyone, let alone Genocide survivors, to tell visitors at memorial sites about the atrocities that were committed during the Genocide against Tutsi. I applaud every single Genocide memorial guide out there who have taken it upon themselves to always explain to people who really happened during the Genocide and how their beloved ones were slaughtered.

Editor,

It takes a tremendous amount of courage for anyone, let alone Genocide survivors, to tell visitors at memorial sites about the atrocities that were committed during the Genocide against Tutsi. I applaud every single Genocide memorial guide out there who have taken it upon themselves to always explain to people who really happened during the Genocide and how their beloved ones were slaughtered.

I have to say that I deeply admire the guides at the memorial sites who have to relive the horror on a daily basis so the world can understand the hell this country was just 18 years ago, and the effects of the international community’s abandonment. Their strength and courage is truly amazingMarie CollinsCanada
