The national football governing body, Ferwafa will today visit the national team’s training camp ahead of their last group five Nations’ Cup qualifier this weekend.The Amavubi Stars’ host Liberia in the final Ghana2008 Nations’ Cup group five qualifiers at Amahoro stadium on Saturday, September 8.

Ferwafa vice president Veduste Kayiranga said yesterday that the visit to is aimed at morale boosting the players and show them they are not alone in the cause [of getting all three points on Saturday].

"This visit has been for all the qualifiers that they have played. It is always aimed at giving morale to players besides, they also do have some issues they wish to discuss with us,” Kayiranga noted.  

Meanwhile, Michael Nees has been boosted by the arrival of Europe based professional players.

Swedish based midfielder Olivier Karekezi and Israel based striker Saidi Abedi Makasi were expected in the country last evening.

DR Congo based custodian Ramadhan Nkunzingoma who features for TP Mazembe joins the camp today.

Twenty-six home based players have been in residential training camp since last Wednesday in Gisenyi of the Northern Province.

The team is residing at Belvedere residential hotel. Rwanda, with three points at the bottom of the group V after four qualifying ties, will need a win in the last home game to win back the fans.

Group leaders Cameroon who face Equatorial Guinea in Malabo, have already qualified for next year’s finals in Ghana.Ends
