Editor,It is very evident that the Rwandan Government places great importance on girls’ empowerment. Girls will become our mothers tomorrow and form a family which is the nucleus of a nation. Women are the ones who instill important values in the younger generation, and therefore directly shape the destiny of a nation. Without a doubt, Rwanda would not be where it is without the direct involvement of its daughters. When women are sensitised enough about the importance of educating all children, including girls, the impact is instant, as we have seen in Rwanda in the recent years.
