Welcome to this Sunday edition of our Magazine. In these pages, we take you through the workings of youth hostels for young people travelling in the country by focusing on one that uses social entrepreneurship to help Genocide survivors.Discover Rwanda Youth hostel, is not the usual profit minded enterprise. This is a social entrepreneurship that aims to assist the survivors of the 1994 Genocide by raising money through people who reside at the hostel while visiting in the country. Doreen Mutesi talks to people who have helped to make it possible.Diaspoman narrates his ordeal at the hands of a ‘Diaspo’ woman whom he tried to impress on a trip to Kampala, but was left smarting in loss.
