Rwanda’s 3X3 men’s national basketball team on Thursday evening departed for Israel ahead of the forthcoming FIBA 3x3 World Cup Qualifiers 2023.
The two-day showpiece, slated for May 6-7, will take place Eilat.
Moise Mutokambali’s side was pooled in Group B alongside Asian giants China and Slovenia who replaced Trinidad and Tobago after The Caribbean nation withdrew from the qualifiers on Wednesday.

However, Trinidad and Tobago’s withdrawal won’t affect the fixture schedule. Slovenia will take the country's fixtures on the scheduled time.
Twelve teams - six in each of men and women categories- will compete for the last three tickets to the FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2023 finals which will take place in Vienna, Austria, from May 30 to June 6.
