Party time with ice cream colors

EVERY time I write about fashion I get goose bumps, because I love every bit of the topic fashion. People in the fashion industry are always busy- there is always something to do, because day in day out, there are some new designs which seem to burst onto the fashion scene for the first time or has come full circle.

EVERY time I write about fashion I get goose bumps, because I love every bit of the topic fashion. People in the fashion industry are always busy- there is always something to do, because day in day out, there are some new designs which seem to burst onto the fashion scene for the first time or has come full circle.Fashion lovers are happy again with the season introducing to them ice cream colors; this is one color which has come full circle. A few years ago darker shades of ice cream colors known as pastels burst onto the catwalks in the form of sugary shades.  Then a few seasons later they re-appeared, watered down and icier in tone, re-labeled as sorbet shades.  This year there has been some cream and eggs added to that sugary sorbet mix and pastels, the results have emerged with ice cream flavors in softer hues.  Soft colors like light pink, light blue, mint green, lemon yellow and their variations, are the key colors this season which add up to ice cream colors. Whether you wear them in soft contrast or match the hue from head to toe, whichever way that suits the wearer, ice cream colors never disappoint.Ice cream colors have been edging into fashion for the past few seasons, in fact over three decades ago, Queen Elizabeth used to spot ice cream colors; and for the new season they have now become a fully-fledged trend. The past few weeks, we have seen the Queen’s famous coordinated outfits in very beautiful soft hues from the collection of ice cream colors.Designers have been noted saying that they have decided to come full circle with the ice cream colors, because the better part of the last season was full of color blocking- so there was a need to change to softer colors.Ice cream colors were synonymous with lazy and hot weekend afternoons, but not anymore after seeing that Queen Elizabeth has been attending functions recently, wearing her signature suits in ice cream colors.Ice cream colors of mint, lemon, vanilla and strawberry have been brought together this summer with retro fifties styling. We can see full-skirt dresses, crop tops; pleated skirts, ankle socks, clutch bags, Capri pants, cardigans, sweaters tops, blouses and over-the-knee skirts. Coming in ice cream colors all these outs fits look sassy, fresh and on-trend ready for the season. We have also seen the first lady of fashion Mrs. Obama embracing ice cream colors; in the celebrity list Katy Perry was spotted in a long trench coat in soft green, the queen of reality TV Kim Kardashian was spotted wearing vanilla jeans,Jessica Alba was in mint green jeans, while Nicole Richie was in a peach blazer attending an event recently -all these celebrities seem to have really warmed up to wearing their different outfits in ice cream colors, of course this tells us that all is well in the fashion department. The most essential thing about ice cream is to know which colors go well with which. Never pair these colors with black or with dark colors but with other shades of ice cream colors.  Don’t shy off from wearing your pink, blue and peach all at once, after all they are ice cream colors- a mixture of all flavors!
