Long distance runner Robert Kajuga is full of confidence about his chances of qualifying for London Olympic Games when he competes in the South Africa Open Championships set for May 4-5 at Pilditch Stadium in Pretoria.The 26-year old athlete is doing whatever it needs to win an Olympic minimum requirement when he competes in the South African race."I have gained experience and exposure after competing in Morocco, South Africa and Turkey and I believe I can take this experience to win the Olympic slot in Pretoria next week,” said Kajuga.He added, "I am always thinking about participating in London Games. I have trained hard in the high altitude conditions in Byumba.” Kajuga will compete in 10000m and 5000m on May 5 in South Africa and May 27 in Africa championship in Benin.Kajuga is hoping to join marathon runner Jean Pierre Mvuyekure in London. Mvuyekure ran inside the marathon qualifying ‘B’ standard time for the 2012 Olympic Games in London in March.Mvuyekure clocked 2: 17: 32 at the Rome Marathon competition to hit the 02:18:00 laid down by the International Amateur Athletics Federation (IAAF).
