Namibia U-20 coach Ricardo Mannetti is optimistic that his side can overturn the first leg deficit against Rwanda next week to qualify to the next round of the 2013 Africa Youth Championships qualifying campaign.The junior wasps beat Namibia 2-0 in the first leg over the weekend and they will be hoping to maintain their fine record when they host Namibia in Kigali on May 5.Coach Mannetti said his side will have to correct their mistakes ahead of the second leg match."Our team is just 14 days old and it is the very first time that they played together. The lads were over excited probably and failed to control their excitement and failed to stick to the plan”, said Mannetti.Manneti added that he expected to at least get a goal back and he will not be making any major changes to his squad ahead of the return leg in two weeks time."We have a mountain to climb because we have to score three goals down there. It won’t be easy but we will do our best. We lost due to two individual errors and we have to reduce them and work more on keeping the ball."I won’t be making any major changes to the side, it will be unnecessary because now these guys are starting to click and I deserve to be given a chance to prove themselves once again”, explained Mannetti.Meanwhile, the junior wasps played a goalless draw in a friendly match against AS Kigali yesterday at Stade de Kigali.Coach Richard Tardy was using the game to help his players get in good shape ahead of the next weekend’s crucial game.If the Junior Wasps maneuver their way past Namibia, they will face West African giants, Mali in July in the second round.
