Rwandan referees will take charge of the CAF Confederations Cup last 16 return leg between Congolese side AC Leopards and Nigeria’s Wari Wolves in two weeks time.Hudu Munyemana will be the centre referee and will be assisted by Felicien Kabanda and Ambrose Hakizimana while Edward Bahizi will be the match commissioner.The quartet also took charge of the second round tie between Tanzania’s Simba and Algerian side AS Setif.Despite the continued presence of Rwandan officials in continental competitions, it has been another poor season for Rwandan clubs on the continental scene.The country’s representative in the Confederations Cup, Kiyovu , bowed out in the first round at the hands of Simba, while APR were denied progress to the third round of the Orange Champions League by a last minute winner in Tunisia by Etoile du Sahel.
