This morning, the Genocide suspect, Jean Bosco Uwinkindi, who was transferred to Rwanda from ICTR last week, asked court to give him four months to prepare for the pre-trial. Appearing before Nyarugenge Intermediate Court, Uwinkindi said he met the lawyer (Gatera Gashabana) in court and wanted more time to discuss with him. "I am not ready to stand pre-trial today because I don’t have a lawyer. I met Gatera Gashabana in this courtroom a while ago and I am not sure if he is the one to defend me.
