Editor,I totally agree with Prime Minister Dr Pierre Damien Habumuremyi that agriculture research centres should actively help address the community’s needs and help farmers increase productivity to lift themselves out of poverty.I am glad that through a colloaboration between the governments of Rwanda and China, the China-Rwanda Agriculture Technology Demonstration Centre was inaugurated this week. It will greatly benefit local farmers and help end poverty in Rwanda earlier that expected.BatetiKigali
