The recent launch of GTV’s G Series - a channel dedicated to the best ever hit series – has created a huge buzz amongst entertainment lovers.

Already, thousands of views are glued to their screens as the new channel helps to establish GTV as Africa’s new home of top entertainment.

A sneak preview of highlights confirms that only the most popular and irresistible shows are being aired. This includes ER, which follows the lives and loves of County General Hospital’s doctors and patients.

In fact, this series is so good it is now the longest-running American primetime medical drama of all time. Launched with a promise of delivering high-octane thrills, G Series delivers with the award-winning series ‘24’.

This ground-breaking programme redefined the whole series concept with its use of real time. Each season of 24 episodes totals an intense, action-packed day in the life of Jack Bauer, an agent for the Los Angeles Counter Terrorist Unit.

Season 1 kicks off on the day of a controversial presidential primary with a plot to assassinate African-American Senator David Palmer; Followers of Barack Obama’s presidential campaign are bound to wonder if real life could follow fantasy in the months to come!

GTV also feeds people’s appetite for laughter with a range of ‘rib ticklers’ on G Series. The whole family can laugh together at the misadventures of TV’s most famous families: The Simpsons and the Banks from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Of course, no channel dedicated to series would be complete without the phenomenon that is ‘Friends’. G Series does not disappoint, offering healthy daily doses of the world’s most-loved series of the past decade.

All about the hilarious lives of six quirky New Yorkers, ‘Friends’ success turned its cast into world-famous stars and attracted side-splitting guest appearances from serious A-list celebrities such as Brad Pitt, Bruce Willis and Elle Macpherson.
