Editor, It was a pleasure to read in The New Times of Saturday, April 21, the article titled "Rwf6bn BCR case settled out of court.” Kudos to Sanjeev Anand, Managing Director, BCR, and the management of Establisse Ramnik, for agreeing to settle a 23-year old dispute out of court, on mutual terms. The role played by Justice Minister, Tharcise Karugarama, in bringing about this amicable settlement, needs to be applauded. Some time back, the Rwanda Development Board, with its timely intervention , safe guarded the interests of many investors  in a housing development project, which was about to be auctioned by a commercial  bank. Such initiatives make Rwanda the preferred investment destination in the EAC region.   It is worth noting that the Government of Rwanda is always on hand to assist individuals, investors and business organisations to work, live and do business together in peace and harmony in this beautiful land of a thousand hills and a million smiles!
