Rwandan winger Noam Emeran's goal against Brighton at the Elite Performance Stadium on Friday, April 21, has been nominated for Manchester United goal of the month.
The youngster scored a superb free kick in the 22nd minute which gave the Junior Red Devils a 2-1 lead in the Premier League 2 before Brighton fought back to win 3-2.
It is now among 10 goals vying for the prize for the Manchester United goal of the month for April.
Among the other goals which made the cut are Scott McTominay's effort against Everton at Old Trafford, Alessia Russo whose lone goal secured the Man United women's team a 1-0 win over Arsenal.
On the shortlists are also goals from Jadon Sancho as well as Marcus Rashford which they scored during Man United’s 2-2 draw with Tottenham.
This is the second time this year Emeran has made the list for the Manchester United goal of the month, having previously done so in January when his wonderful strike against Blackburn Rovers featured in the club’s 12 goal shortlist for the prize.
Emeran, 20, has scored three goals in fourteen league appearances for Manchester United 21 so far this season.
He also got the chance to train with the senior team a couple of times.
