DRE has expressed his enthusiasm for the use of holographic technology in live performances.The rapper appeared at Coachella music festival in Indio, California last weekend, where he and Snoop Dogg performed alongside a hologram of the late Tupac Shakur, who died in 1996, on ‘Hail Mary’.The unprecedented display, which took several months to create, has drawn headlines worldwide, a response which Dr. Dre is more than pleased with.Dr. Dre also revealed his excitement at how far holographic technology will come in the next few years, adding: "I’m not sure right now, [there’s] a technology that’s happening where the hologram could be 360 degrees. Right now it’s flat, it just looks like it’s three-dimensional from the front, but I’m working on some new and different things for the future.”
