12 cooperatives from Kicukiro district are set to receive Rwf 23 million from Evangelical Restoration Church.The support is in line with empowering cooperatives to engage in income generation activities."This is the second phase of the project and we are targeting about 240 beneficiaries from several families,” said Flavien Semadwinga Mwanga, the project coordinator.He explained that beneficiaries will come from four sectors of Kigarama, Gatenga, Gikondo and Kanombe.Currently, identified beneficiaries are undergoing training in various fields that include good governance of cooperatives and management of funds.
