Rwanda has made strides in good governance

Editor, I wish to react to a story which appeared in The New Times of April 16, about Rwanda shinning in a five-nation survey on good governance. I agree with the findings and actually believe that even if the research had been conducted worldwide, Rwanda would still have scored high marks.

Editor,   I wish to react to a story which appeared in The New Times of April 16, about Rwanda shinning in a five-nation survey on good governance. I agree with the findings and actually believe that even if the research had been conducted worldwide, Rwanda would still have scored high marks.Since the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi, the country has carried out several reforms, economically and politically. For instance, it’s clear to all that corruption in Rwanda has no room. All corrupt-minded people are treated equally without favouritism. While a lot more needs to be done, what the country has achieved over the last eighteen years is very commendable. Let us keep the flame burning.Goodluck BahiziNgororero
