Bayern has the potential to surprise Madrid

Editor,Bayern Munich is a European powerhouse and is no stranger to Champions League finals. Perhaps the final regrets most is the one they lost to Manchester United in 1999, thanks  to those historic late goals from Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunner Solscjkaer.Besides that, however, Bayern came from the shadows the following year to be crowned European Champions and, in 2010, were the unfortunate finalists when they were beaten by Mourinho’s resurgent Inter Milan. Now that they have a lead against Madrid in the first leg of this year’s Champions League semi final, they are my favourites to reach the final. They have done this regardless of being underdogs to Madrid.Although this might sound like building Castles in the sky, I hope that Chelsea does all it can to beat Barcelona so that I can get a dream final, pitting Bayern Munich against Chelsea. The hype of the Spanish league has gone to my nerves that they do not deserve to reach the final of the Champions League.Stella TetaKigali
