Editor,I read in your newspaper yesterday that Kigali Public Library is officially open to the public, which to me is a positive development. I am sure this will give opportunity to many Rwandans to have access to books and eventually promote a reading culture, especially amongst the children.Worldwide, public libraries have come to play a key role in helping to combat illiteracy.
