The Basketball Africa League (BAL) on Tuesday, May 2, announced that ticket sales for playoffs and finals of the 2023 edition are now open.
The playoffs and finals will tip off Saturday, May 20, and run through May 27 BK Arena in Kigali.
The BAL has added a number of price points to make it easy for fans to select their seats and locations based on where they want to enjoy the Finals.
Upper Bowl seats go for as low as Rwf1,250 and Lower Bowl seats at Rwf12,750 while courtsides seats go for as low as Rwf41,250 in the third row.
"We are excited to welcome our passionate BAL fans to Kigali for our third consecutive finals,” said BAL Vice President, Head of Strategy and Operations, John Manyo-Plange.
"We encourage our fans to purchase tickets and enjoy the excitement of this world-class basketball and entertainment product, as we roll out our most competitive and impactful season yet."
The 12 BAL teams have once again been divided into two conferences namely the Sahara Conference and the Nile Conference. Each conference plays a 15-game group phase during which each team plays the five other teams in its conference once.
The top four teams from the Nile Conference group phase which is underway in Cairo, Egypt, will progress to the BAL playoffs and join ABC Fighters of Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal’s AS Douanes, home side Rwanda Energy Group and Mali’s Stade Malien who qualified from the Sahara Conference back in March.
The BAL playoffs which will feature a single-elimination tournament and finals after which the champions will be crowned on May 27 at BK Arena.
