IN sport, it is always a constant that preparation and hard work are the keys to success and this is the case with Rwanda’s national sitting volleyball team that qualified for the London Paralympics last year in November.Excitement, enthusiasm and focus can describe the 14-man squad that started training yesterday morning at the NPC Gymnasium, Amahoro stadium under head coach Peter Karreman, who believes that his charges can do well at their inaugural appearance at the world’s biggest sporting event.When Times Sport visited the team training yesterday, all the 14 players were present and the team captain Emile Cadet Vuningabo expressed confidence in his teammates considering the improvement in the past months.Vuningabo said, "We have greatly improved the levels of fitness, alertness as well as our receiving and attacking skills have shown great improvement. We shall endeavor to be consistent and improve every day that we train.”In partnership with the Ministry of Sport, the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) has secured a trip for the national to train in Netherlands and play several friendly games against local clubs between May 7 and 18.Provincial Team List: Emile Cadet Vuningabo, Dominique Bizimana, John Bosco Ngizwenimana, Callixte Twagirayezu, Eric Ngirinshuti, Fidele Ntwawiha, Fulgence Hagenimana, John Baptiste Gahamanyi, John Baptiste Murema, James Rutikanga, Vincent Tuyisenge, Jean Rukundo, J.de Dieu Bisangwa, Charles Ntagawa.
