Editor, Reference is made to your article in yesterday’s issue of The New Times titled "Human trafficking racket busted.”It is important that the Rwanda National Police and the general public work so hard to break the cycle of human trafficking in the country. When you visit some countries in Africa and Europe, you see that human trafficking trade is thriving as if no one, not even leaders, were caring at all.In general, it is clear that the most vulnerable people are young girls since they constitute the biggest market for inhuman business. In particular, school children are among the most affected. Therefore, it should be everyone’s responsibility to fight human trafficking and other social ills since everyone is likely to be affected in one way or another. But we cannot succeed if we don’t take concrete measures and build the necessary partnership to deal with this problem.Rwandans of all walks of life should all join the fight against human trafficking if we are to protect our young generation and secure our country’s future.Agnes KabasitaNyagatare
