Algeria coach Vahid Halilhodzic on Saturday issued an ultimatum to two of his prospective players to decide whether or not they would play for the Fennec Foxes. The warning is coming ahead of the qualifiers of the 2014 Fifa World Cup and the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, as the Bosnian-born manager draws up plans to reinforce his outfit.Saint-Étienne left back Faouzi Ghoulam, 21, and Rennes midfielder Yacine Brahimi, 22, must confirm their willingness to switch allegiance to the North African team before end of September or forget it. Both players were born in France to Algerian parents and have represented France in the junior categories but are yet to receive call ups to the senior team. The Algeria football federation recently sent officials to persuade the duo to come back home, but while Ghoulam keeps procrastinating his final decision, Brahimi says he would only play for Algeria if he was assured a regular playing time, which Halilhodzic bluntly refused. They now have four months to decide where to play their international career.Algeria recently snaffled Valencia’s attacking midfielder Sofiane Feghouli, 22, who was also born in France and has played for the French U18 and U21 teams.
