The rapper told The New Times that there will be no more Juda Muzik or any sort of collaboration with the group. It’s now the start of a new chapter for the Da Rest who is looking forward to giving everything. He believes that with the support of Rwandans his solo career will be big as he thrives to do his best to satisfy music lovers.
"I wanted to focus on myself and chase dreams that look impossible. However, it wasn’t easy working as a duo due to internal reasons that I can’t discuss but all in all I still respect what Juda Muzik did for me. My fans should expect more music because I’m a musician and with God’s blessings I will connect with my music fans,” said Da Rest.
Juda Muzik was composed of two artistes, Junior and Da Rest. They made their debut in 2018, but it was not until 2019 when they gained traction after releasing their hit single 'Rugende.' They followed up with other successful songs such as 'Bitinde,' 'Burundu,' 'Amashyushyu,' 'Ntuzarira,' 'Iminsi,' and their recent collabo with Burundian artiste Alvin Smith dubbed 'Too Much’.
