Editor, Allow me to respond to Allan Brain Ssenyonga’s article titled "It is a shame if you do not know Steven Kanumba(RIP)” in The Sunday Times, April, 15.With all due respect to the deceased, I beg to differ with the author who concludes that it’s a shame for someone not to know our fellow EAC citizens? Are we all cinema fans or even soccer fans?It’s a misleading conclusion to say that EAC citizens must each one of us know each other. That of course impossible, not even can people from the same country, district or even village can know each other. Across borders, we don’t even share common history, culture etc.EAC is simply an economic bloc for Heaven’s sake. I stand to be corrected ChrisKicukiro
