KUWAIT - The Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, John Rwangombwa, has said that his visit to the state of Kuwait aims at promoting commercial partnership with the gulf nation.During a meeting with the Second Deputy of the Kuwaiti Chamber of Commerce and Industry Abdulwahab Al-Wazzan, Rwangombwa noted that Rwanda engaged in huge economic reforms to improve investment and attract more foreign investors in various sectors, especially in agriculture. He called for more visits between Kuwait and Rwanda to familiarise each other with investment opportunities.Although Al-Wazzan stressed the "deep” commercial and economic ties with Rwanda, he aspired to further this cooperation, especially in agriculture which would greatly benefit the state of Kuwait.Al-Wazzan noted that some of the obstacles that stand on the path of commercial cooperation with Rwanda are lack of information and the difficulty of transportation. However, he pointed out that the two governments were adamant to activate this cooperation to serve the best interests of both countries.
