Initially, the game was scheduled to be played on June 1.The development was confirmed by the federation’s Secretary General Bouzenad Nadir in an email sent to the local football federation, Ferwafa.The month of June will keep fans and the players busy as there are three matches on the card.Rwanda is pooled in Group H for the 2014 World Cup qualifiers alongside Algeria, Benin and Mali.After the away fixture against Algeria, Rwanda will host Benin in Kigali six days later.Seven days later, Amavubi will head to Abuja for the return leg qualifying fixture against Nigeria for the 2013 Cup of Nations tournament in South Africa. A win or a scoring draw would see Rwanda through to the final round of the qualifiers. The first leg in Kigali ended goalless.Against Benin, Mali and Algeria, Rwanda has much to do to qualify for the 2014 World Cup. Milutin Sredojevic, the coach of Amavubi, is aware of the task. "I respect all the teams in this group.”"It will be very difficult for us and for Benin, especially as Algeria and Mali, are favorites for me, but we will play to our best until the end,” the Serb tactician was quoted in the media recently.The final first round qualifier, against Mali, is scheduled for May, 2013. The second round which starts early June, 2013, will see Rwanda hosting Mali and Algeria, before traveling to Benin for their final.Rwanda qualified for the group stages after a comprehensive 3-1 return leg victory over Eritrea three days ago.
