THE Remera Buffaloes rugby team has missed out on taking part in the annual Jinja Nile 7s tournament to be hosted at the Dam Waters ground today in Jinja, Uganda.Buffaloes head coach Gerald Nsenga revealed that Nile rugby football club informed him on Wednesday evening that one of their sponsors who was supposed to provide transport for the Buffaloes from Kigali to Jinja pulled out citing financial constraints."It is very disappointing for the boys because they were really prepared to go out there and win this year’s title but now it is impossible,” Nsenga told Times Sport.The Remera outfit finished third at last year’s edition, of the event that is played every Good Friday.The Buffaloes who lifted the Western Uganda Charity sevens title last weekend will now concentrate on training ahead of a friendly encounter in Bujumbura due April 27.Nsenga added that, "The friendly in Burundi will help us to try out our systems ahead of the league that starts later on in the year.”
