Lucien Bikamba converted thrice.Kamali, who made an amazing 11 tries in the entire tournament to stir the Buffaloes to a seven-game winning streak was awarded the top try scorer of the day.Fresh from the Hong Kong 7s last weekend, Kamali expressed joy, "We feel good that we have finally won a trophy in Uganda. Now we have to focus and aim at other tournaments like the Makerere 10s.”Teammate Makombe, who wowed the crowd with his skill, pace and knowledge of the game was crowned the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament.Buffaloes are the all time leading Rugby league winners after winning the league five times in a row but will face stiff competition this year from Sharks and Lion de fer.Ntare were also crowned champions after they thrashed Mbarara High school 17-0 in the schools’ category. Ntare also defeated Mbarara High 11-0 and 5-0 in the U-16 and U-19 categories respectively.Ntare’s Paul Lyaguma was voted the upcoming player of the schools category after he played a total of eight games for both his school and the Sharks in the main cup tournament.
