The Sudanese army on Saturday said South Sudan army was encroaching into Sudan’s territories in South Kordofan State on the border between the two countries, official SUNA news agency reported.The agency quoted Sudanese army spokesman Al-Sawarmy Khalid Saad as saying that "A battalion from the fourth division of the Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA), which belongs to South Sudan, has encroached into the Sudanese border at South Kordofan State towards Taloudy town.”"This encroachment reflects the ill intentions of South Sudan towards Sudan,” the Sudanese army spokesman added.The Sudanese army on Friday issued a statement in which it said military buildups for the SPLA of South Sudan and other rebel movements were monitored south of the oil-rich area of Higlieg.Military clashes erupted last week between Sudan and South Sudan armies at Higlieg area in South Kordofan State on the border between the two countries.Sudan and South Sudan have failed to demarcate their joint border and disputed over many border areas including Jao which witnessed armed clashes on Feb. 26 in addition to the Abyei area.Sudan and South Sudan on Feb. 10 signed a "Non-aggression Deal” to a void an armed conflict between the two sides.
