A chef working at the Japanese Ambassador to Rwanda’s residence was on Thursday evening arrested for allegedly stabbing a K.K security guard. The suspect is a 40-year old Thai national and is thought to have stabbed 46-year old Louis Mugengana in the stomach.A source who arrived at the scene immediately after the incident told The New Times that the two claimed to have had personal wrangles not related to their jobs. The incident took place at the residence of the Japanese Ambassador in Nyarutarama.Mugengana is currently admitted at King Faisal Hospital, while investigations into the case is still in police custody. "He is detained at Remera Police station and investigations in the assault case are still going on,” said Police spokesman Theos Badege.
