AC Milan health coordinator Jean Pierre Meersseman has been encouraged by the results of the preliminary tests carried out on Alexandre Pato since the injury-plagued forward’s arrival at a top medical facility in the United States. The Brazil international has been struggling with thigh problems all season and the Rossoneri’s bewildered medical team decided to fly the 22-year-old to Atlanta on Monday for consultation with Professor Frederick Carrick. It is still early in the process but Meersseman is confident that the renowned chiropractor, who specialises in neurology, will be able to bring an end to Pato’s injury nightmare."We did some early tests and the results were quite encouraging,” the medic revealed.Carrick, meanwhile, is not promising anything but he is optimistic of getting to the root of Pato’s problems."We have one of the most important laboratories in the world that can diagnose neurological problems,” he explained.
